My enthusiasm for working in the garden came about while working with my uncle and a local fencing firm ‘Sayce’s’ in my teens. Once I had completed college I studied at Liverpool John Moores University where I obtained a B A Hons degree in ‘Consumer Studies’. This experience gave me the knowledge and confidence to set up my own business.
Having already gained a fundamental understanding of gardens I decided to complete a landscape design and applied amenity horticulture course at Reaseheath College in Nantwich.
On completing the course I was extremely fortunate to gain employment at ‘John Stephens Landscapes’. Here I worked alongside highly skilled landscapers and designers who worked on large scale projects in south Shropshire. After 4 years I felt it was time to start out on my own.
